Fifth International Stroke Summit |

On the occasion of the coming Fifth International Stroke Summit which will be co-hosted by World Stroke Organization (WSO), Jinling Hospital and Nanjing University Institute of Neurology, as the organizers, we are delighted to invite you to join us for discussing some important issues concerning stroke prevention and management. Following the success of the previous four conferences held by WSO in China under the skillful leadership of Dr Xinfeng Liu, we are going to hold the Fifth International Stroke Summit on July 17-19, 2009, which is to discuss new advances on cerebrovascular disease researches. Having the largest population in the world, China has a relatively higher incidence and prevalence of cerebrovascular diseases. Researchers and clinicians in China shoulder a great responsibility for stroke prevention and management. We have some experience in treating cerebrovascular diseases by the integration of Traditional medicine and Western medicine, but we need a deeper discuss in this area. Following the tenet of WSO, we believe this conference will provide researchers from East and West a platform to share their understanding and experience in stroke studies, which will benefit each of our patients. In the end, we strongly encourage you to attend this coming summit to contribute to and learn from our colleagues from all over the world
